All Answers on Application, Technology, and Benefits

The following questions and answers provide a compact overview of Cargo Cart, its application possibilities, and the technical and organizational benefits of the system. Frequently asked questions from practical experience are answered here quickly and understandably, offering transparent insights into its functionality, application, and added value.

Whether for event technology, exhibition construction, industry, or logistics – the FAQ helps you better understand Cargo Cart and find the right solution for your requirements.

Cargo Cart – Basics, System & Functionality

A Cargo Cart is a modular transport system for event technology that replaces and complements classic solutions like pallets or flight cases. It enables structured, secure, and fast transport, as well as efficient storage of equipment.

Cargo Cart was developed from practice for practice. The goal was to create a more efficient transport and storage solution for event technology, exhibition construction, and mobile equipment.

Cargo Cart was developed by Late Night Concepts Veranstaltungsproduktion GmbH & Co. KG – meaning by professionals directly from practice for practice.

Cargo Carts are designed for professional continuous use in event technology,
logistics, and industry. The stable and robust construction ensures
high load capacity and reliable protection in daily operation.

Yes. The system is durable, modular, and reusable. Individual components can be adapted or replaced without exchanging the entire system.

Yes. A Cargo Cart reduces physical strain, facilitates transport processes, and supports ergonomic work in warehouse, event, and logistics routines.

Yes. In many cases, Cargo Carts can be flexibly integrated into existing logistics and case systems. This allows existing
transport solutions to continue to be used and meaningfully supplemented.

System & Models – Variants, Sizes & Structure

There are three main variants:

• CC1 (closed): ideal for sensitive equipment and small parts
• CC2 (short side open): flexible for larger and longer elements
• CC3 (long side open): perfect for bulky and wide materials

All variants are combinable and modular in design.

For large, bulky, or particularly heavy components, both the CC2 and CC3 model series are suitable. Thanks to their generous loading areas and high capacities, both offer ample space for extensive equipment, trusses, cases, or exhibition materials. CC2 and CC3 can be connected to each other and easily bolted together if needed, creating additional transport surfaces.

Cargo Carts are available in various sizes and designs. The
models primarily differ in terms of loading volume, load capacity, and application area.

All Cargo Carts are based on the same footprint and essentially differ only in height. This makes all models compatible and flexibly combinable. Depending on the model (CC1, CC2, or CC3), only the overall height, and thus the volume and load capacity, varies.

Benefits – Efficiency and Time Savings in Logistics

Cargo Carts offer clear advantages:

• No more “Tetris in the truck” – standardized dimensions
• Faster loading and unloading
• Reduced personnel effort
• Better organization in the warehouse
• Flexibly adaptable interior

They have been specifically developed to supplement or replace inefficient logistics solutions.

Time savings. And in the event industry, time is directly linked to costs, stress, and profitability.

Because staff shortages, time pressure, and rising costs are forcing the industry to work more efficiently.

The system is modular and based on a uniform pallet size, meaning every Cargo Cart has the same footprint and can be perfectly combined. This creates clear, structured loading processes instead of “Tetris in the truck.” In a mega case, up to 66 units can fit using a double-deck loading concept.

Many productions benefit from significantly more structured and consequently faster loading processes and reduced setup times. Tasks that previously required multiple people can often be handled by one person.

Application – Storage, Transport & Combined Use

Yes. Cargo Cart functions not only as a transport system but also as a structured storage solution.

Cargo Carts are designed for stable and secure transport processes. The construction ensures that equipment can be protected, secured, and moved in a structured manner during transport.

Yes, multiple Cargo Carts can be combined. Especially the CC2 and CC3 models can be directly coupled with simple screw connections. This creates flexible, larger transport units that can be expanded or adapted as needed.

Yes, ideally with the CC1. Depending on the configuration, sensitive, high-value, or
delicate equipment can be transported securely. Appropriate inlays and
system solutions protect and stably secure the equipment.

Absolutely. Cargo Carts are not only designed for transport, but also for:

• structured storage of equipment, materials, and accessories
• quick access to equipment
• space-saving organization

Technology – Wheels, Stackability & Handling

Yes, Cargo Carts are designed to be safely, easily, and space-efficiently
stackable. This is ensured by special wheel recesses/grooves and
a well-thought-out design.

Yes, the external dimensions (= pallet size) are standardized and adapted to typical truck loading areas (e.g., 13.6 x 2.4 m). This significantly increases loading efficiency.

Yes, Cargo Carts are equipped with sturdy wheels, allowing them to typically be moved by just one person.

Cargo Cart Application Areas – Industries

Cargo Carts are particularly suitable for:

• Event technology (lighting, sound, video, rigging)
• Exhibition construction and event outfitting
• Stage and set construction
• Transport of equipment and materials
• Warehouse logistics

Cargo Carts are not only used in event technology. They are also suitable for many other industries where materials need to be moved safely, efficiently, and in a structured manner.

These include, among others:

• Mechanical and plant engineering
• Warehouse and distribution logistics
• Automotive sectors
• Temporary setup and dismantling processes in various trades
• Large organizations

Yes, Cargo Carts are already being used in various productions:

• Concert tours
• Large events
• International productions
• Trade fair appearances
• Extensive warehouse and logistics processes
• Industrial and production sites
• Research and medical technology
• Complex transport and material flows

The larger the production, the stronger Cargo Cart performs. Then the speed advantage is exponentially amplified.

Cargo Cart Service – Consulting, Customization & Testing Options

Yes, the system is fully modular:

• individually configurable racks, trays, and boxes
• adaptable to standard and special equipment
• re-combinable at any time

This allows each Cart to be precisely tailored to its specific application.

Yes. Depending on availability and region, product demonstrations or
test deployments are possible to evaluate the function and benefits of the Cargo Cart in practical use. Individual consultation is also available.
